The Home Sites

The 17 home sites at 1 Lake Terrace offer residents a wonderful combination of a sense of private community; enjoyment of Lake Michigan, along with a private beach; and additional safety of investment.

Entering 1 Lake Terrace gives its residents the sense of entering into a private enclave. The community is sheltered behind protective berms covered with pine trees. We envision that 1 Lake Terrace will be a restful and peaceful neighborhood – a wonderful respite from a busy and crowded world. We anticipate a sense of community among like-minded neighbors and that 1 Lake Terrace will be a place where neighbors become friends.

The lakefront home sites range in size from approximately 4/5th of an acre to 1 1/5 acres, and the lake-access home sites range from 1/3rd of an acre to over ½ of an acre. The lineal footage along the beach of each of the 5 lakefront home sites ranges from 101 feet to 197 feet. A layout of the home sites, in three different formats, is shown.

All of the home sites enjoy access to 1 Lake Terrace’s private beach, 678-feet long and from 79 to 280 feet deep. And the 5 lakefront home sites offer commanding views of the lake from atop an 85-foot, wooded bluff. Enjoy fun on the beach and on Lake Michigan with your family, friends, and guests at 1 Lake Terrace.

Each home site owner will share the private beach, the stairway to the beach, and the private roads. Of course, each home site and home will be individually owned by the home owner. A hillside lift to the beach for the residents will also be installed after approval by the state. In the meantime, a shared stairway is provided for going up and down the wooded hillside.
